from their arms
from their sight
a person becoming a shadow in their mind
For all the steps I have taken
have I cut myself off
slowly
drop by drop of blood getting thinner
piece by piece of flesh becoming strangers
the absence getting filled up
everyday
memories with no re-eneactment
fragments of images
fading
and I wonder...
